Regina’s final class in seminary was a study of religions along the silk road. We traveled from Tashkent–>Samaraqand–>Yurt Camp–>Buhkara–>Khiva–>Tashkent–>Kokand/Fergana–>Istanbul. It was amazing to see history unfold as we traveled from city to city. The influences of art, technology, religion, politics, etc. in culture and architecture was amazing! I learned so much. For Regina and myself, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’m glad we were able to explore another part of the world together.
