(Happy birthday to my sister!) I caught some photos of the Columbus Day parade while waiting for some friends to go into the Met. Since I arrived there a little early I popped by Central Park in hopes to take some pictures of the fall foliage. Turns out I was also too early for the awesome colors of fall. The Met was great. We all compiled our favorite works in the Met and had our team’s greatest hits tour. I didn’t include photos of our favorite works of art. Maybe next time. Enjoy the photos!
People in the Met. I work with most of them.
Columbus Day Parade. High School marching band at the end of the route. They were happy to be finsihed.
I jumped on a photo op. One of the officers saracastically said that the photo would be property of the Port Authority. I smiled, took the photo, and left.
Lots of Italian and American flags.
I read an AP article that said the monthly rent for one of the vendors was 55K. Crazy.

Too early for the fall foliage. I will try and go out two weeks from now.

Evidence of the Autumn approach.

Crazy lady. That's my wife. She's not really crazy, but wanted to look crazy for the photo.
