I chose 1 picture from each day of photos I took to highlight certain aspects of the Tribeca Summer Project of the Epic Track. It was hard to pick just one picture for some of the days. I think I took over 8 gigs of high res photos over the course of summer project because halfway through the summer, Andrew lent me his D300, which took an average size of 4-5 megs/picture. I digress, enjoy the photos!
Top of the Rock. The students explored the city and it culminated here. Everyone barely knew each other.
1st staff get together at the Griffin's (minus Cinelle) It was a blessing to work with some great people.
Taken after the 1st day that the student's arrived. I like all of the different things going on in the photo.
Operation Exodus. Janellie and Ann Marie would rather take photos than do their math homework.
Brooklyn Bridge. I like the smiling faces in this photo. We walked the bridge, ate pizza, and had a great time.
Amy Ruth's in Harlem. High high low low was a favorite on project. We always aimed for a perfect game.
Subway station downtown. I'd like to see the picture Leslie took with her camera.
34th and Broadway. The project housing was such a blessing. Really thankful for the provision by the Kings College.
New Hope Community Church in Staten Island. Awesome time hanging with Peter. Great to hear the after stories from Urban Promise.
This photo was taken on the same day. Sorry, I liked the patterns and expressions on the girls' faces.
Tangra in Sunnyside. Nicholas shared his story as an ethnic Chinese in India.
Say Cheese in Midtown West. Mei Ling's birthday.
Bethel Gospel Assembly in Harlem. We took this picture after the service.
Sarah and Shelley's apartment. Karaoke after Filipino culture night. Good times.
The Five Points in Chinatown. Sarah ended up being the highlight of the night. Because of the events that night, our team had some great discussions about humanity.
34th and Broadway. I watched the fireworks show from Sarah and Shelley's apartment.
5th and 53rd Avenue. We just finished interacting with some of the homeless in NYC. We gave them bag dinners and talked about each other's lives.
Senior Center downtown. One of the highlights of the summer for sure. Seniors love young people!
Hannah Elizabeth Chin was born! It was great to get away from project and visit family.
Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. Taken while Sunny was driving on the BQE.
Shake Shack at 23rd and Madison. This place was frequented often.
Battery Park. Taken after the staff appreciation dinner. I like the sunset and poses by the staff.
38th and 6th Avenue. Another one of my favorites. Everyone imitated Josh's camera pose.
Carmine's UWS. Cinelle liked her flower. She was very proud.
All Angel's Church. Project celebration and last group picture.
